A working fishing camp that needed work.
Liz and Chuck took over Rainbow's End in January 2012. Thirteen cottages on Rainbow Lake. A boat dock. A property that had been here for decades and was due for a rebuild. They moved in, started fixing, and never stopped.
New beds. New roofs. Stocked kitchens. Better mattresses where the old ones sagged. Cottage by cottage, year by year. The property today is the result of fourteen years of that work, paid for one stay at a time.

Two names. One phone. No script.
Chuck answers the phone
Call (928) 368-9004 and Chuck or Liz picks up. No call center. No hold music. No upsell script. If they miss the call, they ring back the same day.
Chuck walks you to your cottage
You'll meet him at check-in. He'll show you the cottage, point to where the trout were biting that week, walk you to the boats, then get out of your way.
They live on the property
Chuck and Liz live here. If you need something at 9pm, knock. If a porch light's out, they'll see it the next morning before you do.
Honest up front:
This is a fishing camp on a lake, not a polished hotel. The cottages have been remodeled, not gut-renovated. The bathrooms are clean and functional, not spa-grade. The carpets in some units show their age. If you want a fishing trip with a dock, a boat, and a host who knows where the trout are biting, you'll feel at home. If you want a five-star resort, this isn't that.
The honest version is the version that keeps guests coming back.
